Abstract

The Court of Rome ordered the release of a humanitarian visa for two Afghan children, brother and sister, whose lives were considered in danger under the Taliban regime. The measure would allow them to arrive safely in Italy from a third country and apply for international protection there.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was ordered to issue a visa for humanitarian reasons to each of the applicants through the Italian embassy in Islamabad, pursuant to Article 25 of the Visa Code of the European Union .
