Abstract

According to the summary provided by the EUAA Courts and Tribunals Network:

"The Court found that the situation in the province of Central Kasaï was one of indiscriminate violence, but not of such level that the mere presence of an individual on this territory would by itself expose him or her to severe threats in the meaning of Article 15 (c) QD (recast). The applicant is granted the benefit of subsidiary protection, due to her vulnerability, as an unmarried isolated mother in a context where isolated women are sexually targeted by armed group."
